This was 24 years ago today. I had been saving for a printing press for a while, decided instead to go overseas figuring I never would be able to again. See art.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Water and I had connected on the eBay message boards, building a long-distance relationship over a couple years. Yeah, but before catfishing, so shaddup.
I convinced her to join me. We met in O'Hare international, spent 3 weeks being happily, stupidly awkward. Not awkward anymore.
